Escape Room Activity: Escape Pippa's Bedroom!
Looking to level up your middle school book club or summer reading program? Pair Erin Yun’s Pippa Park Raises Her Game with the escape room activity Escape Pippa Park’s Bedroom for an unforgettable, hands-on team-building experience.
The kit includes everything you need to transform your space into an immersive escape room: a setup guide, a homework folder full of clues, locks, a UV flashlight, boxes, a mini Pippa Park basketball, and a prepaid postage label to return the physical materials to Fabled Films Press. The activity is compatible with the Breakout Edu Kit!

Kristen Burnham, Program Events Coordinator for Prince William County Library System, used the Escape Pippa’s Bedroom activity to kick off the summer reading program across eight library branches. Each location offered multiple sessions to meet high demand, celebrating participants with “Mission Accomplished” and “Go Team” social media props. The program was later showcased at the Virginia Library Association Conference.
Teen Librarian Marla Martin of Woodbury Public Library in Connecticut transformed their space into Pippa Park’s bedroom! Young readers had summer reading fun and successfully completed the Escape Pippa’s Bedroom Activity.
Amanda Coleman, Youth Services Coordinator at the Athens-Limestone Public Library in Alabama said, “The escape room [activity] is fantastic. The kids who attended are now reading the series because they love Pippa! They felt a connection to the characters with the escape room [activity] and wanted more."
