The kit includes everything you need to transform your space into an immersive escape room: a setup guide a homework folder full of clues, locks, a UV flashlight, boxes, and a prepaid postage label to return the physical materials to Fabled Films Press. See It In Action!
Kristen Burnham, Program Events Coordinator for Prince William County Library System, used the Escape Pippa’s Bedroom activity to kick off the summer reading program across eight library branches. Each location offered multiple sessions to meet high demand, celebrating participants with “Mission Accomplished” and “Go Team” social media props. The program was later showcased at the Virginia Library Association Conference.
Teen Librarian Marla Martin of Woodbury Public Library in Connecticut transformed their space into Pippa Park’s bedroom! Young readers had summer reading fun and successfully completed the Escape Pippa’s Bedroom Activity.
Amanda Coleman, Youth Services Coordinator at the Athens-Limestone Public Library in Alabama said, “The escape room [activity] is fantastic. The kids who attended are now reading the series because they love Pippa! They felt a connection to the characters with the escape room [activity] and wanted more."
About The Game
SCENARIO: You are playing as Pippa Park. After receiving a D on your latest math quiz, your older sister and guardian, Mina, has grounded you. However, it’s Saturday, which means playing a basketball game with your best friend, Buddy, at the park. No way you’re going to miss that! But you can’t just sneak out of your bedroom—Mina has confiscated your basketball and locked it up.
GOAL: In an attempt to force Pippa into actually doing her homework, Mina has hidden the passcode to the locks in Pippa’s various quizzes and homework from her classes at Lakeview. You’re supposed to meet up with Buddy at 2 p.m., and it’s currently 1:30—meaning you have exactly thirty minutes to escape your bedroom!
